Cory Bennett is an accomplished journalist specializing in energy, climate, and cybersecurity issues. Currently serving as the Energy and Climate Editor at POLITICO Europe since February 2021, Cory has previously held roles including EU Editor and Deputy EU Editor. At POLITICO, from May 2016 to January 2021, Cory was the Deputy White House Editor and also focused on national security and cybersecurity. Prior to this, experiences include working as a Cybersecurity Reporter at The Hill and covering Internet privacy at Warren Communications News, Inc. Additionally, Cory has reported on government and technology at FedScoop and contributed to the National Journal while managing various editorial projects. Cory holds an M.S. in Journalism from Columbia University and a B.A. in Government from Cornell University.
