Vincent Rutuelo

Vincent Rutuelo is Head of Security, Transportation, and Emergency Preparedness at Poly Prep and heads school safety drills, bus logistics, emergency management, fire systems, etc. Vincent has taken on a number of roles that spanned both the Park Slope and Dyker Heights campuses, including Interim Director of Physical Plant and Security. During his tenure, Vincent has also been involved in many capital improvement projects across both campuses. He joined Poly in 2006 after seven years at The Spence School where he was Director of Safety & Security and also worked on several capital projects. Prior to that, Vincent was a member of the New York Police Department. He holds a BS in Criminal Justice.
