Omar Alaaeldein

Omar Alaaeldein is a Research Fellow at Polytechnique Montréal since January 2024 and has a diverse background in engineering and machine learning. Previously, Omar served as a Machine Learning Engineer at Corporatica from May to December 2023 and as a Research Assistant at the Faculty of Engineering, Alexandria University, Egypt, from March to June 2023. Additionally, Omar worked as a Back-end Software Engineer at Hoopoe Digital in July and September 2022, and as an Undergraduate Researcher at Egypt-Japan University of Science and Technology from March 2021 to May 2022. Early in the career, Omar gained experience as an IT Intern at Mega Trust Group in February 2020. Omar holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Industrial Engineering from Polytechnique Montréal and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from Egypt-Japan University of Science and Technology, along with a High School Diploma in Science from Shaikh Abdul Aziz Bin Mohammed Al Khalifa Boys Secondary School.
