Maurizio Aurora is an experienced food and beverage manager currently employed at POPS since April 2022. Previously, Maurizio held the position of Maitre D'Hotel at Hotel Miramonti for a brief period in mid-2022, which was interrupted due to Covid-related logistical challenges. From June 2018 to April 2022, Maurizio served as the operational director at Ristorante Elefante Marino, overseeing customer reception, financial planning, marketing management, and staff turnover. Prior to that, Maurizio was responsible for the restaurant sector at Hotel Relais dell'Orologio 5* from January 2016 to June 2018 and worked as a Restaurant Bar Manager at Ristorante "La Baracca" from May 2014 to August 2016, where responsibilities included managing bar and restaurant services, purchasing, staff relations, and compliance with HACCP standards. Educational background includes a diploma in accounting from Istituto tecnico commerciale F. Carrara, completed in 1981, and additional training from AIBES.

Our passion and curiosity has taken us on quite the journey. One that has had many months of melted mishaps and the sort of learning you need a pickaxe to climb, but one that has also seen our cocktail inspired desserts sell all over the world and form partnerships with some of the biggest brands. We are pioneers at heart and have remained progressive in our nature to create a brand that is adventurous and honest for the good of all involved. Our passionate team are mixology masters, who thrive on innovative product opportunities that pack natural ingredients, mouth-watering flavours and real alcohol to bring people together through memorable experiences. We’re serious about creating unique, great-tasting products, but don’t take ourselves too seriously. Our cocktail inspired desserts are fun and exciting, creating a human, cheeky brand that builds a positive engagement for our community.
