Kathryn Jackson is a member of PGE’s Compensation and Human Resources Committee and Finance Committee.

Jackson has served since January 2016 as the director of energy and technology consulting at KeySource, Inc., where she provides consulting services to clients in business growth, technology development and energy services. Prior to KeySource, Inc., Jackson served as senior vice president and chief technology officer of RTI International Metals and chief technology officer and senior vice president of research and technology at Westinghouse Electric Company, LLC, a nuclear plant, fuel, and services company.

Jackson’s board service includes director of Cameco Corporation – one of the world’s largest uranium producers, headquartered in Saskatchewan, Canada, the EQT Corporation, a natural gas exploration and production company headquartered in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and DQE Holdings LLC, Duquesne Light Holdings, Inc., and Duquesne Light Company, which provides transmission and distribution services in Western Pennsylvania. She also serves on advisory boards at Carnegie Mellon University and the University of Pittsburgh. She has previously served as a director of Hydro One Inc., Rice Energy, Inc. and as board chair of ISO New England.

She holds a doctorate and masters in engineering and public policy from Carnegie Mellon University, a master’s in industrial engineering management from the University of Pittsburgh, and a bachelor of science in physics from Grove City College.

Portland General Electric Company is an electric utility that is engaged in the wholesale purchase, transmission, distribution and retail sale of electricity in the State of Oregon. Its service area allocation of approximately 4, 000 square miles is located entirely within Oregon and includes approximately 51 incorporated cities, of which Portland and Salem. It has five natural gas-fired generating facilities, which include Port Westward Unit 1 (PW1), Port Westward Unit 2 (PW2), Beaver natural gas-fired generating plant (Beaver), Coyote Springs Unit 1 (Coyote Springs) and Carty natural gas-fired generating plant (Carty). As of December 31, 2016, the Company owned and operated two wind farms, Biglow Canyon Wind Farm (Biglow Canyon) and Tucannon River Wind Farm (Tucannon River). The Company's hydroelectric projects consist of Pelton/Round Butte on the Deschutes River near Madras, Oregon, four plants on the Clackamas River, and one on the Willamette River.
