Mike Knudsen

Mike Knudsen is an experienced educator and business professional with a diverse background in teaching and IT project management. Currently serving as a temporary 5th-grade teacher at Portland Public Schools, Mike also holds a TSPC license as a substitute teacher for grades 2 through 5. As the owner of PortlandPlays, Mike facilitates group role-playing games for various age groups, fostering creativity in a safe environment. Previous roles include instructional assistant at TTSD Virtual Academy, fiction author and game designer specializing in tabletop games, and multiple positions in IT project management and business analysis at companies such as Daimler Trucks North America, Portland General Electric, and OHSU. Mike holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Portland State University and is pursuing a Master of Education in Elementary Education from George Fox University.
