Gretchen McKay

Gretchen McKay is an award-winning food editor at the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, where work has evolved from hard news reporting to covering travel, food, personality profiles, and health and fitness trends since 1998. In 2016, participation as a fellow with the National Press Foundation highlighted commitment to food writing. Prior experience includes teaching writing at the Community College of Allegheny County, contributing as an editor and writer for First for Women, and serving as Pacific Editor for Off Duty Magazine. Gretchen holds a BA in English from Penn State University and an MA in English from George Mason University.
