Justin Wedes

Justin Wedes is a seasoned professional with a diverse background in creative direction, non-profit leadership, and social activism. Currently serving as the Studio Director at Posthuman since April 2025, Wedes oversees operations in Eastern Market, Detroit. Previously, Wedes was the Chief Executive Officer at Flow Video, focusing on brand storytelling and marketing strategies, and held the position of President at Detroit Workers and Builders, a non-profit dedicated to employment opportunities for underprivileged residents. Earlier roles include Director of Marketing at the Jewish Community Center of Metropolitan Detroit, CEO of The Liberati Group specializing in digital marketing, Lead Organizer for the Detroit Water Brigade, Founder of Occupy Labs, and Organizer for the Occupy Wall Street movement. Wedes began a career in education as a high school teacher in physics and technology. Wedes holds a Bachelor of Science in Physics from the University of Michigan and a Master of Education in Science Teacher Education from Pace University.
