Brian Almond

Brian Almond is an experienced security professional with a substantial background in both architecture and engineering. Currently serving as Principal Security Researcher and Principal Security Architect at Presidio since December 2013, Brian specializes in the design and architecture of various security technologies, providing consulting services that leverage expertise in defensive security. Previously, from April 2002 to November 2013, Brian held the role of Senior Network Engineer/Network Architect at Community Health Systems, a Fortune 500 healthcare organization, where responsibilities included managing the security architecture and programs, as well as overseeing SOC and Incident Response teams. Brian is pursuing a Master of Science in Information Security Engineering from SANS Technology Institute, expected to complete in August 2024, and holds a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from St. Petersburg College.
