Carl Sims

Carl Sims is an experienced V1 and LED Engineer currently working with multiple companies, including Frost Chicago and Frost Florida since May 2018. In the live events industry, Carl assists with event setup, execution, and striking, engaging in various roles such as video switching, LED engineering, camera operation, and video playback. Additionally, Carl holds positions at Gateway Studios & Production Services, AV Chicago, Inc., Creative Technology, and Production Resource Group, providing expertise in video engineering and stream production. Carl's freelance work includes roles as an AV Technician and Video Engineer since March 2015, with experience at companies like Mindpool Live and Crescent Event Productions. Carl holds a Bachelor of Science in Communication and Media Studies from Moody Bible Institute.
