Kristin Bernhard currently serves as the Executive Director of Corporate Social Responsibility and Public Advocacy at Primrose Schools since June 2024. Previously, Kristin held significant roles at Start Early from March 2019 to June 2024, including Chief Policy & Research Officer and Senior Vice President of Advocacy & Policy. Kristin was also a member of Chief, an organization focused on advancing women in leadership, from February 2021 to March 2022. Prior experience includes serving as Deputy Commissioner for System Reform at Bright From The Start: Georgia Department of Early Care and Learning from January 2014 to February 2019, and various positions within the offices of Governors Nathan Deal and Sonny Perdue, including Education Policy Advisor and Policy Assistant. Kristin holds a Juris Doctor from Georgia State University College of Law, a Bachelor of Arts in History & English with a Pre-Law concentration from The University of Georgia, and participated in a semester abroad at the University of Oxford studying History & English.
