Wirt Jones

Wirt Jones is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in packaging and manufacturing sectors. Currently serving as Senior Director of Engineering at Printpack since 2007, Wirt leads efforts in flexible, rigid, and medical packaging production, focusing on equipment installation and efficient plant development. Prior to this role, Wirt was Manager of Manufacturing Technology and Facilities Development at Printpack, overseeing the construction of new factories globally. Wirt's earlier tenure at Mars, Incorporated included positions such as Snackfood Group Project Manager and Technical Manager, where responsibilities encompassed managing multi-million dollar capital projects and operations in large-scale manufacturing environments. Wirt began a career at E. I. Dupont de Nemours as a Shift Manager. Educational achievements include a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical and Materials Engineering from Vanderbilt University.
