Burt Morey is a seasoned transportation professional with extensive experience in engineering and public service. Currently serving as the Senior Vice President of Transportation Markets at Professional Engineering Consultants since February 2023, Morey previously held key roles at the Kansas Department of Transportation, including Deputy Secretary and State Transportation Engineer until retirement in February 2023. Morey's earlier experience includes serving as the City Engineer for the City of Overland Park from November 2015 to December 2019. Morey holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Kansas State University, obtained between 1988 and 1991.
