Arturo Coronado is a seasoned food safety professional with extensive experience in compliance and quality control within the produce industry. Currently serving as a Food Safety Coordinator at Progressive Produce since October 2015, Arturo has successfully led compliance initiatives for over 300 vendors, ensuring adherence to FSMA, state, and local regulations while developing Standard Operating Procedures to enhance food safety protocols. In previous roles, Arturo supervised quality control at numerous packing houses and fields as a Grower Relationship Consultant, and managed supply chain operations as a Process Quality Manager at Grupo SOCOADA. Arturo began a career at CIAD as a Student Research Assistant, focusing on data collection and analysis. Academic credentials include a Master of Science in Nutrition Sciences from Centro de Investigación en Alimentación y Desarrollo A.C. and a Licenciatura from the Institute of Technology of Sonora.
