Melissa Downey Mills

Melissa Downey Mills serves as the Senior Director of Strategic Partnerships at Progyny, Inc., starting in January 2023, after holding the position of Director, Strategic Partnerships. Prior experience includes roles as Strategic Partnerships Manager at Big Health, where Melissa contributed to mental health initiatives, and as Category Lead and Specialist at Walmart eCommerce, managing a multi-million dollar Home Decor category and collaborating with various internal teams. Earlier in her career, Melissa was a professional soccer player in the Nationalliga A with Football Femminile Lugano 1976, worked as a Policy Research Assistant for the Reagan-Udall Foundation, and served as a Science Policy Assistant for the Jamie Raskin Campaign. Initial research experience was gained at the USDA as a Laboratory and Research Assistant. Melissa holds a Bachelor's Degree in Molecular Biology from Princeton University and a Master's Degree in Biomedical Science Policy and Advocacy from Georgetown University.
