Hélène Macé began their work experience in 2004 as an Associate Director at Natixis, where they worked until 2008. Hélène then joined Societe Generale as a Senior Credit Officer, specializing in Natural Resources, and held this position until 2015. Hélène then moved to Societe Generale Corporate and Investment Banking (SGCIB) as the Director of CEEMEA Loan Syndication from 2015 to 2017. Hélène then joined AFD - Agence Française de Développement, where they worked as the Responsable d'Equipe Projet - Institutions Financières et Appui au Secteur Privé from 2017 to 2019. Currently, Hélène is working at Proparco, where they hold the position of Senior Investment Officer - Financial Institutions and Inclusion - Africa, Middle East and Caucasus since 2019. Hélène is also the Director for Private Finance Mobilisation in the same organization, starting from September 2023.
Hélène Macé's education history includes obtaining a Master's degree in International Project Management from ESCP Business School in 2002-2003. Prior to that, they completed their undergraduate studies at the University of Paris I: Panthéon-Sorbonne, earning a Magistère degree in International Relations from 1999 to 2002. Hélène also obtained a License in History from the same university in 1998-1999. Hélène Macé's educational background started with completing Hypokhâgne & Khâgne at Lycée Hélène Boucher from 1996 to 1998.
