Roman Troitsky is Deputy General Counsel and has been in the legal industry since 1999. Prior to joining Prospect, he was a senior counsel at Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP, where his practice focused on representations of private equity firms, hedge funds, multinational corporations, leading financial institutions, equity sponsors and their portfolio companies in domestic and cross-border financing transactions, including syndicated and multi-currency credit facilities, letter of credit facilities, secured and unsecured revolving and term loans, bridge loans, first-lien, second-lien and mezzanine loans, cash flow and asset-based financings, restructurings, DIP financings and other debt transactions. In addition, Roman advised clients on transactional and compliance issues involving ISDA-governed derivatives documentation (including credit, equity, interest rate, commodity and FX transactions), as well as prime brokerage, securities lending, clearing, and futures and options documentation.

Roman received his BA with honors from Earlham College and his JD from the New York University School of Law, where he was a member of the editorial board of the Journal of International Law and Politics.
