Chuan Yang

Chuan Yang has a diverse work experience in the field of data analytics and software architecture. Chuan started their career in 2000 at ChinaCache as a Senior Software Engineer and R&D Manager. In 2002, they transitioned to IBM as an Advisory Software Engineer and Solution Architect, where they worked until 2013. During this time, they gained expertise in Big Data and distributed systems. Chuan then joined ChinaCache again in 2013 as the Lead Architect and Director for Big Data and Distributed Systems. In 2015, they moved to IBM as a Senior Architect, specializing in Big Data and IoT. In 2016, Chuan took on the role of Architect and Senior Developer for Data Analytics at swipejobs, where they designed and implemented core services of the mobile and Big Data platform. Chuan'sresponsibilities included architecture design, data modeling, ETL scripting, and data analysis. Currently, Chuan works at Prospection Pty Ltd as a Data Architect, focusing on healthcare data analytics and extracting actionable insights from various data sets.

Chuan Yang completed a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Advanced Computing - Machine Learning and Data Mining at the University of Bristol from 2002 to 2003. In addition, Chuan has obtained various certifications, including the IBM Certified Database Administrator - DB2 Universal Database V8.1 for Linux UNIX and Windows, IBM Certified Designer - Cognos BI Reports, IBM Certified Developer - Cognos BI Metadata Models, IBM Certified SOA Associate, IBM Certified Solution Designer - InfoSphere Warehouse V9.5, IBM Certified Solution Expert - Cognos BI, IBM Certified Specialist - Cognos BI, IBM IT Architect Accreditation, and PMI Project Management Professional (PMP).
