Samantha DeMars-Hanson

Samantha DeMars-Hanson has a diverse range of work experience in various roles and industries. Samantha started their career at Futurewise as a Community Outreach Intern in 2014 and later worked as a Summer Conference Assistant at the University of Washington. In the same year, they had multiple internships, including being an Energy Outreach Intern at C+C, a WordPress Administrator at Web Properties Network, a Special Events Intern at Mobility Outreach International, and a Recycling Research Intern at Zero Waste Washington.

In 2015, Samantha worked as an Office and Events Coordinator at the Whatcom Literacy Council and then transitioned to being a Market Research Analyst at Vulcan, Inc. Samantha stayed at Vulcan, Inc. until 2016 when they joined PRR as a Senior Communications and Community Engagement Specialist, where they are currently employed.

Samantha DeMars-Hanson attended the University of Minnesota from 2010 to 2011, although no degree or specific field of study was obtained during this time. Samantha then enrolled at the University of Washington and pursued a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Environmental Studies from 2012 to 2014. In addition to their degree, Samantha also obtained a Social Marketing Certification from the KeyBank Professional Development Center at the University of Washington in July 2014.
