Philipp Kappert has diverse work experience in quality management, regulatory affairs, research and development, risk management, and engineering. Philipp is currently working as the Director of Quality Management & Regulatory Affairs at PTW. Prior to this, they held roles as a Quality Manager in R&D and a Quality/Compliance Engineer at the same company. Before joining PTW, Philipp worked as an Development Engineer at ResMed Humidification Technologies GmbH and as an Entwicklungsingenieur focusing on Risk Management, Verification, and Validation at VBM Medizintechnik GmbH. Philipp also gained research experience as a Studentischer Forscher at the University of Connecticut and the Fraunhofer Institute for High-Speed Dynamics, Ernst-Mach-Institut (EMI).
Philipp Kappert obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Baden-Wuerttemberg Cooperative State University (DHBW) from 2006 to 2009. Following that, they pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Biomedical Engineering/Medical Engineering from FH Münster between 2009 and 2011. In 2021 to 2022, Philipp attended Uni Lübeck to pursue a degree in Regulatory Affairs Manager.
