John Kessler

Senior Lecturer at Purdue University Fort Wayne

John Kessler is a Senior Lecturer and Continuing Lecturer of Economics at Purdue University Fort Wayne since August 2006, where John teaches a variety of undergraduate courses and a graduate course in Energy, Economics, and Environment during the summer. In addition, John serves as the Director of the Center for Economic Education, facilitating professional development workshops for teachers and acting as the primary media contact for the Economics Department. Since June 2007, John has been a Mentor Teacher for the Foundation for Teaching Economics, conducting workshops and online courses. As a Program Associate and Workshop Leader for the Stavros Center for Economic Education since 2013, John continues to contribute to economic education. Prior teaching experience includes roles at Millennium High School and a background in the United States Marine Corps Band. John holds a Master's Degree in Economics and Entrepreneurship for Educators from the University of Delaware, a Post Baccalaureate Certificate in Secondary Education from Arizona State University, and a Bachelor's Degree in Communications from Arizona State University.
