Matin Abbasi

Matin Abbasi is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in consulting and public service. Currently serving as a Senior Consultant & People Manager at Capgemini since March 2018, Matin specializes in Cards & Digital Payments, focusing on customer and market data analyses, as well as projects related to digital payments in e-commerce across Europe. Matin also holds the position of City Councilor for Haarlem with the PvdA, elected in March 2022, and serves on the Audit Committee, ensuring the financial integrity of the municipality. Prior to these roles, Matin was a Consultant at Newpeople International BV, contributing to digital marketing strategies and hosting events for digital marketers. Matin began a career in sales at DHL Express Nederland. Matin holds a Master of Arts in History of International Relations from the University of Amsterdam and a Bachelor of Arts in History from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.
