John de Wit

John De Wit is a highly experienced professional in ethics, compliance, and forensics with a career spanning over three decades. Currently serving as the Head of Ethics and Compliance at PZ Cussons since May 2021, John previously held the position of Head of Forensics at VIVO ENERGY from May 2018 to May 2021. Prior roles include Investigations & Monitoring Consultant at Tullow Oil, Senior Case Manager at BP, and Senior Manager for Forensics at Smith & Williamson. John has also worked as a Fraud Auditor for Bedfordshire County Council and held several positions within law enforcement, including Detective Inspector at the South African Police Service. John De Wit holds a solid educational background from Maritzburg College.
