Dr Robert Bingham

Dr. Robert Bingham is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in software engineering and project management within the defense and technology sectors. Currently serving as the Software Engineering Group Lead at QinetiQ since June 2017, Dr. Bingham previously held the role of Software Development Manager & Team Lead at Hewlett Packard Enterprise and contributed significantly as the Typhoon Project Technical Authority, where responsibilities included defining project engineering plans and providing technical leadership on concurrent projects worth approximately £50 million. With a history of leadership roles across various companies, Dr. Bingham has guided teams in developing complex software applications and systems, including significant contributions to projects in military systems and air traffic control. Dr. Bingham holds a Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Sussex and a BSc (Hons) in Physics from Imperial College, University of London.
