Leighton Sneade

Leighton Sneade is a Senior Cell Scientist at Qkine since July 2022, bringing extensive experience in the field of cell biology and research. Prior to this role, Leighton served as an Advanced Research Assistant at the Wellcome Sanger Institute from October 2019 to July 2022, after initially joining the organization in February 2014 in a similar capacity. Previous positions include Research Associate roles at Asterand and Genzyme, and a biomedical support position at University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust. Early career experience includes student research at the University of Cincinnati and various roles in customer service. Leighton holds a BSc in Applied Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of the West of England, completed in 2007.
