Nicolas Sampré is a Senior Backend Engineer at Qonto since August 2022, focusing on core banking systems and fund management using technologies such as Golang, Ruby, REST, Kafka, and PostgreSQL. Prior to Qonto, Nicolas served at Scaleway from February 2018 to July 2022 in various roles, including Backend Engineer and Object Storage DevOps, where responsibilities encompassed developing object storage features, managing migration processes, integrating services, and ensuring the functionality of critical microservices. Nicolas has in-depth experience with a wide array of tools and technologies, including Python, Docker, Redis, PostgreSQL, and CI/CD practices. Nicolas is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Computer Science from 42 Paris, supplementing education with a brief period at 42 Silicon Valley.

Qonto was born out of frustration. As new entrepreneurs, Alexandre and Steve felt bogged down by their own banking experience. It was time-consuming. It was complex. It also lacked the modern tools that progressive companies need. So, they decided to create a banking product fit for the modern entrepreneur. One that when you use it, just seems to "click". Our goal? To dust off the old banking experience and be the power pack for small businesses. We are driven by our desire to save our customers time. Time that they can reclaim for forging their own future. And that’s something we think is pretty valuable.
