Junior R&D Engineer at Quantib

Milan Izarin has a diverse work experience spanning from 2011 to the present. Milan began their career as a Stocker at Albert Heijn from July 2011 to August 2013. They then worked as a Tutor at Bijlesnetwerk from November 2016 to July 2017.

In March 2017, Milan co-founded Orthas B.V., where they served as a Director. In this role, Milan developed an innovative approach to screening for Scoliosis in young adolescents. They were responsible for app development, product development, and production until August 2018.

From September 2017 to August 2018, Milan worked as the Commissioner of Promotional Affairs and Events at Gezelschap Leeghwater. They were also the Secretary at De Delftse Bedrijvendagen during the same period.

Milan gained experience as a Mentor at TU Delft from September 2018 to July 2019. They interned at the University of Nairobi, Makerspace from September 2019 to December 2019. Following that, Milan worked as a Graduate intern in the Bio-Imaging Group Rotterdam at Erasmus MC from October 2020 to August 2021.

Since February 2022, Milan has been working at SunRider as an Ingenieur productontwikkeling. Their main responsibilities include overseeing the maintenance and development of cargo e-bikes integrated with solar cells, providing sustainable solutions for city logistics.

Most recently, starting in February 2023, Milan has taken on the role of Junior R&D Engineer at Quantib.

Milan Izarin obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Delft University of Technology, where they studied from 2013 to 2017. Subsequently, they pursued a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in Biomechanical Design at the same university from 2018 to 2021. Prior to their university studies, Milan attended Openbaar Zeister Lyceum from 2007 to 2013 and earned a degree in Applied Sciences, N&G (VWO). In addition to their academic qualifications, Milan obtained a certification in CSWA from the SolidWorks Authorized Training Centre in April 2015.
