Jaehwan Kim has extensive work experience in various engineering roles. Jaehwan is currently a Senior Engineer at Quantum-Si since October 2022. Previously, they worked as a Graduate Student Researcher at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from September 2016 to October 2022. Before that, they served as an Engineer at Samsung Electronics from February 2012 to May 2016. Jaehwan also completed a Summer Internship at the Korea Institute of Robot and Convergence (KIRO) in June and July 2009.

Jaehwan Kim began their education journey in 2006 when they enrolled at Pohang University of Science and Technology. Jaehwan pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, completing their studies in 2010. At MIT, they embarked on a rigorous academic pursuit and embarked on a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) program in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. Demonstrating their dedication and commitment, they continued their studies at MIT until 2022, culminating in the successful completion of their PhD degree.
