Troy Allen is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in the energy sector. Currently serving as Assistant General Counsel at QuarterNorth Energy since August 2021, Troy previously held the same title at Fieldwood Energy LLC from June 2018 to August 2021. Prior to that role, Troy was Vice President and General Counsel at Legacy International Production & Exploration and served as Associate General Counsel at Cobalt International Energy, Inc. from September 2014 to June 2017. Troy’s career also includes significant positions at BHP Billiton, where responsibilities spanned from Counsel/Specialist to Team Manager in Group Legal Petroleum, and as an Associate Attorney at Baker & Hostetler LLP. Troy holds a Juris Doctor degree from The University of Texas School of Law and a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Political Science from Texas A&M University.

Our asset base is predominately located in the deepwater Gulf of Mexico, where we own and operate a diverse set of producing properties alongside a robust prospect inventory strategically located near key deepwater facilities.
