QADT Electrical Team Member at Queen's Aerospace Design Team

Mustafa Hasan is a Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering student at Queen's University, scheduled to graduate in April 2025. Currently serving as a Power System Analyst Student Intern at the Independent Electricity System Operator (IESO) since May 2024, Mustafa previously contributed to the Queen's Aerospace Design Team as an Electrical Team Member, focusing on power distribution systems for autonomous quadcopters. Mustafa's internship experience also includes research and development roles at Fortress Technology Inc., where significant contributions were made to projects involving gravity metal detectors and servomotor systems, achieving notable improvements in detection rates and operational performance. Additionally, during a brief engagement as a SHAD Fellow, Mustafa collaborated on a unique experiment for Blue Origin's New Shepard rocket, showcasing innovative design capabilities.
