QuEra Computing
John Robinson has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of quantum engineering and research. John is currently serving as a Quantum Engineer at QuEra Computing Inc. since May 2023. Prior to this, John worked at JILA, where they served as a Postdoctoral Research Associate until April 2023 and as a Graduate Research Assistant from June 2015 to December 2022. During their time at JILA, John focused on developing and characterizing ultra-stable lasers using cryogenic silicon optical cavities, achieving groundbreaking sub 10mHz linewidth.
John began their research career as an Undergraduate Researcher at the University of Nevada Las Vegas, starting in June 2010 and ending in June 2015. John also gained research experience as an REU student at Rice University from June 2014 to August 2014.
John Robinson is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Physics from the University of Colorado Boulder, with an expected completion date in 2022. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Physics from the University of Nevada Las Vegas, where they studied from 2011 to 2015.
