SVP, Clinical Solutions at Quest Diagnostics

Karthik Kuppusamy is Senior Vice President, Clinical Solutions for Quest Diagnostics.

In this role, Karthik is responsible for setting and executing the strategy for growth and innovation across Quest’s clinical franchises as well as Pharma Services, Genomic Services, and Global Markets. The clinical franchises include: Cardiovascular, Metabolic and Endocrinology; Drug Monitoring & Toxicology; Infectious Disease & Immunology; Neurology; and Women’s & Reproductive Health. Working closely with Quest’s leader of Molecular Genomics and Oncology, he ensures that Quest is well positioned in advanced diagnostics with world-class tests and solutions required for physicians and patients.

Previously, Karthik served as Vice President and General Manager of Quest’s North Region, from 2018 to 2022. Prior to that, he was the General Manager of the Neurology Franchise & Consumer Genetics at Quest Diagnostics from 2014 to 2017.

He has more than 25 years of combined healthcare and life sciences experience leading large cross-functional teams. Karthik joined Quest in 2014 from GE HealthCare’s Diagnostic Imaging Division where he held General Manager roles in product development, R&D, sales, and marketing.

Karthik earned a Ph.D. in electrical and biomedical engineering from Washington University in St. Louis, an MBA in finance and operations from Marquette University, Milwaukee, a master’s degree in electrical & biomedical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, and a bachelor’s degree in electronics and communications engineering from Anna University, Madras, India.

Karthik is a co-chair for Quest’s Inclusion and Diversity Council.
