Pehr Lawson has a diverse work experience, starting with their role as a Credit Manager at Wells Fargo in 1999. Pehr then worked as a Registered Representative at Charles Schwab & Co., where they consulted clients on investment portfolios and sold company services. Pehr joined GE Capital Franchise Finance in 2001, initially as a Risk Analyst and later as a Sales Representative. At GE Capital Real Estate, they held various positions, including Marketing Manager and Global Customer Research Leader. Pehr also worked at Ernst & Young as a Manager in the Advisory, Financial Services - Customer Practices division. Prior to their current role, Pehr worked at Intuit as a Customer Care Leader for the Consumer Ecosystem Group. Currently, they are the VP of Customer Care at Quicken Inc.

Pehr Lawson obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus on Finance from Northern Arizona University from 1996 to 1999. Following this, they pursued a Master's in Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Accounting from the University of Phoenix in Arizona from 2002 to 2004. In July 2005, Pehr Lawson obtained the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).
