Jahmil Effend

Jahmil Effend is a seasoned professional in higher education with a focus on student engagement and activities. Currently serving as the Associate Director of Student Engagement at Quinnipiac University since February 2021, Jahmil Effend has previously held significant roles including Associate Director of Student Activities at Emmanuel College and Graduate Intern in Student Activities at Eastern Connecticut State University. Jahmil Effend's experience also includes an Assistant Resident Coordinator position at the University of Saint Joseph and an internship in management at Nordstrom. Educationally, Jahmil Effend holds a Master of Science in Counseling, Student Development in Higher Education, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Business Management from Central Connecticut State University, where Jahmil Effend also served as SGA President during the undergraduate tenure.
