Rick Smith has a long history of working in IT roles, particularly in the financial systems arena. Rick has been with QUT since 1998, with various titles such as Senior Systems Officer and Financial Systems Manager. Rick also played a key role as a Technical Lead on a project to upgrade Oracle e-Business Suite Release 12. Additionally, Rick worked at the Clarence River Fishermans Co-operative as an IT Facilitator, where Rick re-implemented the finance system. Rick holds a B.App.Sci degree in Computing from Southern Cross University.
