Andrew Naporano has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Andrew is currently the Chief of Commercial Operations at Radius Recycling since July 2023. Prior to this, they held various roles at Schnitzer Steel since 2012, including Vice President, Commercial Operations, NE Regional Director, and Director, Commercial Operations. Andrew also served as the Vice President, Chief Sustainability Officer & NE Regional Director from October 2017 to March 2019. Before joining Schnitzer Steel, Andrew was the Executive Vice President at Staiman Recycling Corporation from September 2011 to July 2012. Andrew also worked as an Associate at Citi from July 2010 to January 2011. Andrew pursued their graduate studies at Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College from August 2008 to July 2010. Andrew started their career in the US Navy as a US Naval Aviator from May 1999 to July 2008.
Andrew Naporano holds an MBA degree in Business from The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth, which they obtained from 2008 to 2010. Prior to that, they completed their undergraduate studies at The George Washington University from 1995 to 1999, earning a BBA degree in Finance.

Schnitzer Steel Industries, Inc. dba Radius Recycling is one of the largest manufacturers and exporters of recycled metal products in North America with operating facilities located in 25 states, Puerto Rico, and Western Canada. Radius has seven deep water export facilities located on both the East and West Coasts and in Hawaii and Puerto Rico. The Company’s integrated operating platform also includes 50 stores which sell serviceable used auto parts from salvaged vehicles and receive over 4.1 million annual retail visits. The Company’s steel manufacturing operations produce finished steel products, including rebar, wire rod and other specialty products. Radius began operations in 1906 in Portland, Oregon.
