Rachel Cook

Rachel Cook is a dedicated Pediatric GI Outpatient Clinic Registered Nurse at Rady Children's Hospital-San Diego since January 2023, specializing in pediatric gastrointestinal care. Rachel has extensive experience as a Travel Registered Nurse, managing emergency and critically ill pediatric patients in Level I trauma centers. Previous roles include serving as a Pediatric ER Registered Nurse II at Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital and completing a Nursing Practice Externship at Tampa General Hospital. Additionally, Rachel has a background in research at Florida State University, where research focused on brain systems related to spatial orientation and Alzheimer's Disease. With over 13 years of childcare experience and a strong educational foundation with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Florida State University, Rachel brings a comprehensive skill set to nursing and pediatric care.
