Mark Yeatman

Mark Yeatman is an experienced applied scientist currently working at The Boston Dynamics AI Institute since March 2023. Prior to this role, Mark served as a senior roboticist at RightHand Robotics, Inc. from August 2022 to March 2023, and as a robotics specialist at Realtime Robotics, Inc. from December 2021 to August 2022. Mark's earlier positions include senior robotics software developer and researcher at OxeFit, where responsibilities included implementing algorithms for motor control on a motorized strength training device, and graduate research assistant at The University of Texas at Dallas, focusing on energy-based control of powered prosthetics. Mark holds a Ph.D. in Controls and Dynamics, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and Computer Science, both from The University of Texas at Dallas. Additional experience includes internships at Hyperloop Tech and DTU - Technical University of Denmark.
