Surya Singh

Surya Singh is a Research Scientist at The Boston Dynamics AI Institute, specializing in Robotics and Artificial Intelligence since June 2023. Prior to this role, Surya served as a Senior System Analyst at Intuitive from January 2020 to June 2023 and held the position of Senior Lecturer, equivalent to Associate Professor, at The University of Queensland from August 2011 to January 2020, where Surya directed the Mechatronics Program and founded the Robotics Design Laboratory. Previous experience includes a Research Fellow role at the University of Sydney and a Visiting Academic & Lecturer position at The University of Western Australia. Surya Singh earned a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University, a Master's Degree in Robotics from Carnegie Mellon University, and a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
