Michael Edson possesses extensive experience in engineering and communications, currently serving as a Software Application Engineer at RailComm since May 2017, where responsibilities include designing and installing dispatching software systems for railroad operations. Prior roles include Toll Collector at the New York State Thruway Authority and a Systems Engineer Co-op at Harris Corporation, where Michael contributed to the design of radio and communication systems for naval vessels. Michael's military background features significant roles in the New York Army National Guard as S-6 Section Chief, overseeing communication and network planning, and in the United States Army as Multi Channel Transmission Systems Operator-Maintainer Section Chief, leading a team in communication tasks. Educational achievements include a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Rochester Institute of Technology and earlier studies at Genesee Community College. Michael has received numerous military awards, including the Army Commendation Medal and the Army Achievement Medal.
