Katie Pugh

Katie Pugh has extensive experience in conservation, currently serving as the Director of Conservation Programs at Rainforest Trust since November 2015, where previous roles included Conservation Grants Program Manager and Senior Conservation Programs Officer. Prior to Rainforest Trust, Katie worked at the Humane Society of Fairfax County as an Associate and held the position of Fisheries Research Assistant at QuanTech, Inc. Additionally, experience as a Veterinary Assistant at Little River Veterinary Clinic contributed to a well-rounded background in animal care. Katie holds a Master's degree in Conservation Biology from Miami University and a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Leadership Studies from Christopher Newport University, with additional educational experience at Galen University in Belize.
