Daniel Sica has a comprehensive work experience history. Daniel started as an intern at Engenho Pesquisa, Desenvolvimento e Consultoria Ltda. in 2005 and eventually became a Gerente de Pesquisa in 2009. Daniel also held roles at various energy companies, such as Clime Trading as a Partner, Climenergy as a Partner and Portfolio Head, and WX Energy as a Partner. In 2020, they took on the role of Padrinho at Instituto Energia do Saber. Currently, they serve as the Trading Director - Power at Raízen since 2021.
Daniel Sica began their education at Instituto Federal de Educação, Ciência e Tecnologia do Sudeste de Minas, where they earned a Técnico em Eletromecânica degree in 2001. Daniel then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering at Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro from 2003 to 2007. Following this, they completed a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Signal Processing at the Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro from 2007 to 2009, and later obtained a D.Sc. in Signal Processing from the same university starting in 2010.
