Lester L. Arnold Sr.

Lester L. Arnold, Sr., SHRM-SCP, SPHR, is a seasoned human resources executive with extensive experience across multiple organizations, currently serving as Vice President of Human Resources at RAND Corporation since January 2023. Previously, Lester held roles such as CHRO and Vice President for Human Resources and Payroll at George Mason University, and CHRO and Associate Vice Chancellor for Human Resources at Winston-Salem State University, where responsibility included leadership in talent management and aligning HR strategies with institutional goals. Additional experience includes senior HR leadership positions at FOCUS Brands, ARAMARK Healthcare, Lowe's, Wachovia, Towers Perrin, and MCI, complemented by academic roles as an instructor in Human Resources Management. Lester holds an MBA in Human Resources Management from the University of Hartford and a BS in Accounting from Norfolk State University.
