John Lamont is Chief Scientist at Randox and also a Senior Manager. John achieved a BSc (Hons) in Biochemistry from The Queen’s University of Belfast (1979) and also a MSc in Clinical Biochemistry from Trinity College Dublin (1983). John worked in clinical biochemistry for 4 years and in Biochemistry Research at Queen’s University before joining Randox Ltd (1984) where he led the development of Biochip Array Technology (BAT). John manages molecular biology R&D, external research collaborations, develops strategic alliances with companies and manages the company’s portfolio of IP and licensing contracts.
