Sandor Liive is a prominent entrepreneur and executive with extensive experience in leadership roles across various companies. As a co-founder and member of the management board at Gridio since December 2015, Liive has also served as co-founder and Chairman of the Supervisory Board at Fermi Energia since February 2019. Additionally, Liive is a member of the Supervisory Board at RB Rail AS, where Liive held the role of Chairman in 2021 and is slated for the position in 2024. Liive's previous experience includes serving as the CEO of Eesti Energia AS from April 1998 to November 2014, leading Estonia's largest business and a major oil shale to energy company. Under Liive’s leadership, Eesti Energia achieved significant milestones, including raising over €800 million in international financial markets and establishing key international deals. Education includes advanced studies at Stanford University Graduate School of Business and INSEAD, and a Master's degree from TalTech – Tallinn University of Technology.

RB Rail AS is a multi-national joint venture of the Republics of Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania , which has been established to implement Rail Baltica – the first pan-Baltic infrastructure project of its kind. RB Rail is the central coordinator for the Rail Baltica project.
