Brian Ganzel, PE, currently serves as a Project Engineer at Dashiell Corporation, Madison Operations, where responsibilities include providing engineering and construction support for transmission line projects, project scoping, and estimating. With extensive experience in transmission line design, Brian has held various positions within the company, progressing from Graduate Engineer to Design Engineer II, and accumulating expertise in software such as PLS-CADD and PLS-POLE, as well as voltage levels from 69 kV to 345 kV. Prior to joining Dashiell Corporation, Brian worked as a Staff Structural Engineer at JSD Professional Services, Inc., specializing in structural design projects, and gained early experience in engineering and materials testing through roles at Terracon, Speece & Lewis Engineers, and Certified Testing Services. Brian holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and a Master of Science in Structural Engineering from the University of Iowa.
