Michael Chivers

Michael Chivers is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in commercial real estate and investments. Currently serving as Vice President and Legal Counsel at Realty Income Corporation since December 2022, Michael has held various roles within the company, including Director of International Investments and Associate Vice President. Prior to this, Michael worked at Herbert Smith Freehills from March 2014 to November 2022 as a Senior Associate in Real Estate, where responsibilities included handling a wide array of real estate transactions and financing. Michael's earlier career includes a position as an Associate at Allen & Overy, focusing on real estate finance, securitization, and corporate mergers. A training contract at Allen & Overy included exposure to multiple legal disciplines. Additionally, a secondment at Tishman Speyer involved work on asset management and the establishment of real estate investment funds. Michael Chivers holds an LLB (Hons) in Law from the University of Bristol and completed the Legal Practice Course at Nottingham University.
