Callan Carpenter

Callan Carpenter currently serves as a People Business Partner and previously held positions including People Operations Generalist and People Operations Associate at Recursion from January 2021 to present, where responsibilities include leading People Development programs, managing cross-disciplinary team initiatives, and enhancing onboarding experiences. Prior experience includes roles at Upstart Creatures as Artistic Associate, CLEAR as People Coordinator and Office Assistant, and various positions in theatre, including internships at Theatre Communications Group and directing projects at Davidson College. Callan holds a Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, in Drama and Dramatics/Theatre Arts from Davidson College, with additional training from the Moscow Art Theatre School and the University of East Anglia.
