Peter Culver has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Peter started their career in 1997 as an Office Administrator at United Utilities. In 1998, they joined The Diamond Group as a Web Developer, where they were responsible for designing, developing, and deploying websites. Peter also managed team workflow and interviewed staff. In 2004, Peter joined Redburn as an IT Analyst and later became an IT Manager in 2007. In these roles, they were responsible for managing the technical platform, developing in-house applications, and providing ongoing support. Peter also played a key role in strategic digital platform development and business analysis projects. In 2011, Peter was promoted to Head of IT, overseeing the Service and Development teams and ensuring alignment with business goals. Since November 2018, they have been appointed as the Chief Technology Officer at Redburn, where they continue to lead technological initiatives. In 2014, they also became a Partner at Redburn (Europe) Limited.
Peter Culver attended Tonbridge School from 1992 to 1997 but did not obtain a degree or specify a field of study during their time there. Peter later attended the University of Birmingham from 1998 to 2002, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in American Studies. Additionally, Peter Culver studied at UC Santa Barbara from 2000 to 2001, earning another BA degree in American Studies. In terms of certifications, they obtained the CMI Level 5 Certificate in Management and Leadership (QCF) from the Chartered Management Institute in September 2012 and the Prince 2 Practitioner certification from the APM Group in April 2006.
