Samantha Alvarado

Samantha Alvarado is an experienced finance professional currently serving as a Process Improvement Specialist at Red River Commodities Inc since November 2020. In this role, Samantha coordinates the finance team's efforts to utilize systems for accurate recording, tracking, and reporting of financial and operational data, including the implementation of new ERP software. Prior to this position, Samantha worked as a Cost Accountant at Border States from August 2015 to November 2020, contributing to the production of financial statements using SAP and business intelligence tools. Samantha's early career includes roles as a bartender at Blarney Stone Pub and as a tax preparer at Liberty Tax Service, where expertise in customer service and tax law was developed. Samantha holds a Master of Science in Accounting and Finance from Minnesota State University Moorhead and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from the same institution.
